7N7 Vacuum Tube New and Used

- Description
- Specifications
The 7N7 is a remote-cutoff pentode vacuum tube designed for high-frequency RF and IF amplifier stages in superheterodyne radio receivers and communications equipment. Electrically equivalent to the 6SK7 octal tube, it features a 6.3V filament rating with a 300mA current draw and utilizes an 8-pin lock-in (loctal) base in a glass envelope construction. Manufactured by companies including Sylvania, Philco, RCA, and GE, this tube was widely used in mid-century Philco and Zenith radio chassis requiring stable gain control and low cross-modulation in variable-gain receiver stages.
