The 7GS7 is a remote-cutoff pentode vacuum tube designed for RF and IF amplifier stages in television receivers, radar systems, and high-frequency communication equipment. Manufactured by companies including Sylvania, Philco, RCA, and GE, this tube features a 6.3V filament rating with a 300mA current draw and utilizes an 8-pin lock-in (loctal) base in a glass envelope construction. Used for servicing vintage radio and television chassis requiring high transconductance and stable automatic volume control (AVC) performance in wideband receiver circuits.
