The 7C7 is a sharp-cutoff pentode vacuum tube designed for high-frequency RF and IF voltage amplification as well as resistance-coupled audio amplifier stages in radio receivers. Featuring a 6.3V filament rating with a low 150mA heater current draw, it utilizes an 8-pin lock-in (loctal) base in a glass envelope construction. Manufactured by companies including Sylvania, Philco, RCA, and GE, this tube was widely used in mid-century Philco, Zenith, and transformerless AC/DC radio chassis.
