The 6T8 is a triple-diode high-gain triode vacuum tube designed for combined AM detector, FM ratio detector, automatic volume control (AVC), and audio voltage amplifier applications in radio receivers. Units are available in both new old stock (NOS) and tested used conditions. Manufactured by companies including RCA, Sylvania, GE, and Raytheon, these tubes feature a 6.3V filament rating and a 9-pin miniature base design in a glass envelope. Used for servicing vintage radio chassis, AM/FM broadcast receivers, and television sound circuits.
