This hex socket set screw features a #10-24 UNC (Unified National Coarse) thread pitch. Engineered with a cup point tip, it bites into control shaft surfaces to provide a slip-resistant lock that prevents knobs from spinning freely during operation.
The screw installs into threaded brass inserts or molded collars on vintage radio control knobs. It provides replacement hardware for tabletop receivers and console radio units manufactured during the 1930s, 1940s, and 1950s by companies such as Philco, Zenith, RCA Victor, and Crosley. Available in two lengths; 1/4" and 5/16". Package of 4 screws.
